About Tokoname Ware
Tokoname is a historic pottery town located on the western coast of the Chita Peninsula in Aichi Prefecture. With approximately 1,000 years of ceramic history, Tokoname is recognized as one of Japan’s Six Ancient Kilns. Its teapots are especially admired for their thoughtful design, comfortable handling, and highly refined craftsmanship.
