Handmade Katakuchi Pouring Bowls – San Jose Studio Made

Our handmade katakuchi bowls are designed for smooth whisking and controlled pouring.

Each piece features a carefully formed spout for steady transfer of liquids or mixed ingredients without drips.

Unlike traditional open tea bowls, the taller form and interior curvature support consistent mixing while maintaining stability during use.

All bowls are crafted by hand in our San Jose pottery studio using durable clay bodies and food-safe glazes.
The smooth interior surface allows for even movement of tools and prevents unwanted resistance during mixing.

Available for in-store pickup or online ordering from our San Jose studio.
