The color variations give the blues a deep with a glow-from-within quality, and the splash of red is a fun contrast. The shape of the spout is lovely and doesn't drip. The size and shape of the bowl feels really nice to cradle in my hands, which are on the smaller side. I've been using it daily to whisk matcha and hojicha powders.

Light blue hydrangea was used to go with the v shape design. Note: water can not go over the base of the split opening. It makes nageire style a little bit challenging. I have figured out the ideal water level should be at least 1 inch away from the split opening. It can avoid any overflow due to moving vase or adding extra materials. Love the color of glazing! It brings up the color of flowers so beautifully. Also,I like the size, it’s easy to change water after you make an arrangement.

I couldn’t find perfect shape and quality Ikebana containers until I bought this. This container is just perfect and the one I’ve been looking for!

The piece is hefty but sleek. The navy tone is deep which brings out the colors of the floral arrangements. Very happy with the purchase!

I would like to have another one in the same glaze which is bigger--at least 2- 3 inches bigger on all sides. It is such a versatile shape.
